Privacy Policy — Check Huay (DRAFT)

DRAFT — pending legal review. This document describes what the app currently does as of the codebase audit on 2026-06-12. It must be reviewed by a lawyer or compliance owner, translated to Thai, and hosted at a stable public URL before store submission.

Summary

Check Huay is an unofficial third-party app that lets you check Thai Government Lottery (สลากกินแบ่งรัฐบาล) results against the official GLO API. The app does not require an account, does not collect personally identifiable information, and does not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

What the app stores on your device

This data never leaves your device. It is not synced, not backed up to our servers (we have no servers), and not shared with third parties.

What the app sends over the network

The app calls the official Thai Government Lottery (GLO) API at https://www.glo.or.th to fetch and verify draw results. Each network request can include:

GLO is an arm of the Royal Thai Government. We do not control GLO’s privacy practices; please refer to GLO’s own policy. We do not store, log, or transmit your requests anywhere else.

Camera

When you scan a lottery ticket barcode or QR code, the app uses your device camera to decode it on-device. Captured images are never saved or transmitted. Decoded numbers are populated into the input field for you to confirm before you submit a check.

Permissions

The app does not request location, contacts, microphone, photos, calendar, Bluetooth, or push notification permissions.

Children’s privacy

The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone of any age. It does not require an account.

Third-party SDKs

Account deletion

The app has no remote account. To delete all data the app has stored:

  1. Open the app → History → swipe to delete individual entries, or
  2. Reinstall or uninstall the app — all local data is removed with it.
